I would highly recommend Dr Khalil. I feel very comfortable with this doctor and She always explains everything throughly. Infact you hear a lot of criticism of surgeries in general but l have always found the staff at the Essex way surgery helpful and polite.

Dr Asma paid great attention to my problems and was very attentive exsplaned the best way to treat my symption she was very through exsplaning about the medication l left the surgery feeling very satisfied with my GP appointment

This was my first meeting with Dr Asma Khalil. As I opened the door I was greeted with a smile and a hello, which put me at my ease straight away. Dr Khalil new exactly what I was there for, without me having to say, it was quite refreshing that a Doctor read the notes before I’d entered. I have rheumatoid arthritis and am checked at the hospital yearly, which was done in December 2017 so couldn’t understand why the Doctor also wanted to do a yearly check! Well by the time we had finished chatting I was left with no question unanswered. Dr Khalil was very informative, checking previous blood results (which I have every 3mths) spent time explaining what they meant and how the tablets I take can effect them. I was also informed that the reason for the Doctor wanting to see me was because, they like to make sure their records are up to date with the hospital records and nothing is being over looked or mislaid, another reason was as they actually give out the repeat prescription they like to know how the patient is doing, or if there has been any side effects. I was truly happy with my visit today and would definitely recommend this surgery to friends.
